About the session
How do you affect serious change across 2 government departments while designing a legal service that’s inclusive for even the most excluded from society? This was the big challenge we faced when transforming the immigration and asylum appeals service, which enables people to appeal against a Home Office immigration or asylum decision to an independent tribunal. By using a collaborative, participatory approach and co-design methodologies, we have not only redesigned the service, but also changed policy and empowered our users.
